22 Weeks

Growing Baby Woods,


At twenty weeks we had our anatomy scan and found out that you are still definitely a baby girl and you are growing well. In fact, you measured a head of schedule and looked as if you may be a tall little girl (all of your long bones were measuring in the 70th percentile for your gestational age). I guess I just figured you'd be a little shorty like your mom ;)

Everything else looked just great, and the doctor wants to look at you again in four weeks to see if you are still ahead of schedule and get a few more pictures of you that he couldn't get because you were so active when we were looking at you. While we were watching you kept kicking and punching me and contorting into the funniest little positions, it was fun to watch.

Your kicks and punches are getting stronger and stronger all the time and I think soon your dad will be able to feel you too. We are continuing to get things set up for your arrival and have most of your things washed and put away. I have a name picked out for you but as usual your dad is having a hard time making a final decision on what we will call you ;) Mom will just have to push him to get you named before you arrive as a Jane Doe. We are so looking forward to you coming this summer!
